To achieve a bachelor’s degree, students must achieve 112 to 120 credits for 4 years, while for a master’s degree, a minimum of 36 credits are required for a two-year program.
Grades & GPA
US education system practices a continuous evaluation system for every course selected by the students and honors them with grades. Determined by several inquisitions, like for example class attendance, marks scored in examinations, laboratory reports, assignments, and other appropriate procedures, the grades are assessed and a common percentage as a “letter grade” is presented. The following letter grade scale is implemented at US colleges and universities.The numerical grade for each course is multiplied by the number of credits secured by the student. Likewise, the total points obtained are divided by the total number of credit hour.
100-90% = A
89-80% = B
79-70% = C
69-60% = D
59-50% = E
49-0% = F
